Site Engineer

Working in one of the most modern cheese ingredient plants in Europe, you will be responsible for leading and developing the engineering team, driving the team’s objectives to continuously improve performance and the reliability of Plant.

As the senior engineer on site this role encompasses a breadth of skills, ranging from the design, implementation and commissioning of new projects to planned maintenance and the development of systems and controls in alignment with Company strategy. You will be expected to develop and deliver KPIs as well as being a driver of innovation and continuous improvements. Reporting to the Operations manager you will also be managing a team of engineers and should therefore have the ability to build relationships and communicate well with people at all levels.

Experience in the food manufacturing environment would be beneficial; the ideal candidate will have at least 3 years engineering management experience, ideally gained in high volume automated food manufacturing. You will have a formal engineering qualification/recognised apprentice with a multi skilled focus.
