Industry leading innovation

State of the art Facilities

Our total factory space now exceeds 50,000 square feet on a five acre site with new facilities, employing over 100 staff, featuring a series of innovative plant, equipment and processes. Facilities that have been designed, constructed and expanded exclusively for Meadow Cheese with the highest levels of hygiene and quality that meets all European food industry standards.

Lines

Two fully automated production lines enable us to offer our products either chilled or IQF (Individually Quick Frozen).

Processing Lines

We operate two fully automated processing lines with specific modifications defined by Meadow Cheese. These are supported with a low energy cost in-house developed cooling system and multi-vac filling lines for 10kg hermetically sealed packages. The Cheese Ingredients Line provides both the capacity and the flexibility to supply heat treated ingredients to all sections of the food industry.

New Special Products Plant

The Special Products Line supplies lower volume products including flavours and additives, supporting the growing demand from manufacturers for Cheesease products.

Storage

Raw materials can be stored at a controlled temperature of between +2º and +5º and accommodated to in excess of 1000 tonnes. Finished goods can be stored at a controlled temperature of between +2º and -20º and accommodated to a combined capacity of 1500 pallet spaces.

Distribution

Meadow Cheese contracts an internationally leading distribution company to ensure express delivery throughout the UK and mainland Europe.
